Brampton House is located in Newcastle-under-Lyme on a gradual incline from the A53 and is 5-minute walk (0.3 miles) from the town centre. The streets in the local area are paved with a fairly even finish.
The nearest train station is Stoke Station which is a 10-minute drive (2.4 miles). There are multiple local taxi services available accommodating accessibility requirements including ‘Autocab Private Hire Taxis’ whose contact number is 01782-777 777.
We offer our food menus and information in a large print format if required although we ask for prior notice to ensure we are able to accommodate making these alternative formats in time for your arrival.
There is free parking on site for all visitors which is open-air with up to 100 spaces located at the side of the property. It is down a paved ramp which would be steep to walk. There are 30 steps and a handrail up to the side of the building. The carpark is well signposted with large easy to read signs, both the carpark and the path to the carpark are well lit when it is dark.
Please note there are three disabled parking spaces available around the side and rear of the building. These are well signposted with large easy to read signs.
The main front door is accessible via two separate staircases leading to the main doors. There is also disabled access to the rear of the building, at level-access from the disabled carpark. The front door is manual, heavy weight and opens inward. The back door is reachable through a large gate and is manual, light weight and opens outwards. Both entrances require a member of the Summit Hospitality team to admit you into the building, the disabled entrance had a door bell which will alert a member of staff you require entry if we are not already there. Once inside the building the members of your meeting will be given two door cards which allow free access for both the front and disabled entrances. For any further questions about building access please do not hesitate to ask one of our staff who will be happy to help.
There are signs throughout the building pointing towards the toilets and there is a unisex disabled toilet located by the disabled entrance, opposite to the male toilets. This has 2 vertical and 1 horizontal handrail next to the toilet itself. The flooring in the disabled toilet is non-slip laminate and the taps on the sink are levers. The disabled toilet is fitted with an emergency alarm call system and the lock is a facility indicator bolt set.
